  1. Dad complains on Radio

Heard on the radio on SEN a Port Melbourne players dad ring up and complain that his son has not been cleared to Frankston by Port Melbourne and then appeal to the VFL and they knocked back the clearance as well due to the players having a 1 year contract or something like that. Are some of the Port players not happy becuase they are playing VFL reserves and believe should be playing the seniors. Is to do with the North Melbourne and Port Melbourne aligned in the VFL and North Melbourne players taking there spot in the seniors at Port.
  2. Injury Update

Tom HOOKER = Shoulder. Tom dislocated his shoulder in last weeks practice match game against the bullants. He says he went to punch the ball and thinks he got also a hit from behind and the shoulder came out. It was the second time Tom has dislocated his shoulder and will miss the next 4 to 5 weeks.
  3. Lance OSWALD, unfortunate accident

i would just like to let you know about Lance OSWALD a younge player from Murray Bushrangers/Shepparton. Unfortuantly went down in a training drill last week. He badly broke his leg and will miss the season. He is in and out of hospital undergoing surgery on his leg and i believe he is having plates put in to his leg this week. All players were shocked when it happened and there was a scary hush over the ground at training when all the players had to holt training to get him off by stretcher.
