  1. Cam Croad quits blues

A change to the Bullants sides in coming weeks as Cameron Croad has become "disilussioned with football" and has left the club to do other things including travelling overseas.
  2. Bit of a longshot, but...

Does anyone know what happened to the goal posts out at the Brunswick footy ground? I was passing the ground today and saw that they have been replaced with a standard height plastic pipes. As a kid I used to be amazed at how big they were (in comparison to the ones we had at Camberwell). They were probably the same size as the ones at Waverly Park (now at Williamstown), with the little knobly bit on the top. The ground condition was a little ordinary.. it joins many grounds where the grandstand is now fenced off.
  3. Tigers ins and outs for Round 5..

    Forums:
Looks like Daniel Bandy and Steven Koops are in the tigers side for the game against Port, with both Cam Faulkner and Farren Ray a chance to play their first game for the Bulldogs.
  4. The Dicker View

Have come across some interesting views about the VFL by Hawthorn President Ian Dicker, published in the Ballarat Courier last month. I think it shows complete and total ignorance of the VFL on his part. Quite simply, Ian Dicker has suggested the VFL competition become an Under-23 competition, with only allowances made for AFL listed players over that age. Here's some of the article's key points: "Mr Dicker, who has been lobbying Football Victoria on the issue, spoke about the direction he believes the VFL should go at the BFL's season launch.
  5. Changes for next week.

With North losing two in a row, I think Laidley might make a few changes to their line-up this week. Jeremy Clayton and Sav Rocca pretty much select themselves this week, however he might play a Trotter or LeCras or Urch similar to Grima getting selected last week...but who will they drop? Port would be looking to try and minimise the number of changes to the side, but with good performers in the twos, and players coming in from the Roos, it must be so difficult to pick a final 22. Assuming Rocca plays with North is Nick Thomas a chance at making his debut?
