1. A bit worried!!!

Hi guys just wandering if i can get your opinions. I have started following Bendigo Bombers. I have purchased a membership and I am getting more passionate about the club and league as I learn more everyday. I take my 3 boys to all the home games. I am worried though that as we get attached more and more, what happens if Essendon pulls out of the alignment. I know the Diggers werent very popular and would have folded if it was not for the Bombers. I dont want to follow a team for 2 or 3 years and then be left with nothing.
2. Little peice on Longmire

Lachie Longmire, got a bit of a mention in the following article.. apparently he travels to Corowa-Rutherglen when not needed by Port. http://www.bordermail.com.au/newsflow/pageitem?page_id=724326
3. Should Saturday's TV games return to a 2PM start?

Assuming the ABC play these games an hour earlier to try and maintain their ratings against the Channel 10 delayed coverage, but do you think it is really worth doing? Are TV viewers going to switch over to the AFL game as soon as it starts? TV coverage reduces the crowds at a game Scheduling the game an reduces the crowd further.
4. Umpires = pathetic

How can fans and players seriously respect umpires when they affect the result of a match through their decisions? Today at Werribee, Coburg gave away EIGHT, yes EIGHT, 50m penalties in the reserves game. Werribee scored no fewer than five goals as a direct result of these. In the end, the umpiring probably determined the result of the match. All because a couple of men in white don't have the guts to tolerate a bit of backchat?
5. Scores - Williamstown v Northern Bullants.

Forums:

The reserves were facing a third successive loss against the league leading Bullants, in what was the GF replay, with the result going in the Seagulls favour. Aftet trailling all day. a strong third quarter by the Bullants saw them go in at three-quarter time with a 5-point lead.
