    Did anyone happen to catch Banfield having a go at Bendigo? He said he didnt know how they could be referred to as a Regional club with so many Essendon players, and Bendigo players based in Melbourne. He also said he was picking his side with the 12/10 finals rule in mind, and said that the Bombers would be stuffed if they happen to make the finals.

    I put SEN on at midday today, expecting to hear a bit of VFL chat, a few coach and player interviews - but instead there's a couple of women talking about NETBALL! Yep, SEN have moved The Netball Show to Saturday afternoons. According to these netball people, they are on for a couple of hours every week. Does that mean the VFL coverage will start at 1.45pm? I hope not. And if it does, then a decent post game review until 6pm would be a good substitute. I wonder whether SEN are dropping off in their commitment to VFL coverage. I'll hope to hear the VFL coverage kick off at 1pm.

  3. Port to drop the 12/10 rule?

    A rumour going around on Bigfooty's North board, is that the Borough have decided to withdraw the rule, in the best interests of team selection. If it is genuinely going to be picked on form, then I reckon a few players from both lists will be close to being dropped for the next game against the Roosters.

    Those Burger faithful who have seen Tambling this year, I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on him. One of the reasons I went to the ANZAC day clash on Monday was to take a look.. but I hardly saw him. He was ok in the first quarter but seemed to have very little impact on the game until he popped up again late in the last quarter. I realise he may not have been fully fit, but what have you seen of him and what are your expectations?

    Is the squad to be named on the same day as the state side (May 12th)? Am really looking forward to this game. Anyone got some names of players who should be in these sides?
