July 2005

  1. Most debuts this year?

Which club has blooded the most players new to their club this year in the Seniors? Obviously the stand-alones will lead by a long way.
  2. Our run home.

With the byes out of the road, and an encouraging win against the Roosters on Saturday, the final 6 games all look very winnable. It would be a great lead-up to the finals if we can make a top-4 finish. Box Hill Geelong Williamstown Coburg Scorpions Frankston Looking at those sides we play in the next six weeks, I think Frankston is the real danger, who will make their presence felt in the finals this year.

  4. Round 14 Coburg Tigers vs Williamstown

    Forums:
It was a game played in wet conditions throughout and the temp according to the nylex clock remained at 8 degrees during the entire game. Coburg were always in control with Rix,Jackson and Archibald performing well. Coburg lead by 7 at quarter time, 26 at half time, 32 at three quarter time and winning by 48pts. Woewodin I noticed was listed in the best players all I will say if he was one of their best no wonder the seagulls had a bad day. One stage Woewodin kicked a ball from a contest 40m towards Coburgs goal to tigers players.
