  1. Northern Bombers... kidding themselves?

    Doubt very much that this club could enter the VFL and be successful. I reckon AFL Tasmania wouldn't be keen on another club undermining the work they have done with the Devils. Would Northern Tasmania be able to generate the income to keep a club afloat up top? I wouldn't expect followers from other clubs in the area to support them in the VFL either.

  2. TAC Cup Grand Final-Gippsland vs Dandenong-match thread

    Just thought I would start this thread for the TAC Cup grand final being played on Saturday at the MCG at 10:05am. This match is being shown live on Fox Footy across the country. I will be at the game, I got my AFL Grand Final ticket this morning. I will be barracking for Dandenong, but Gippsland go in as favourites as they should.

  4. What changes will we see in 2006?

    With the season now over, what will be different in the VFL next year? We know that we will have a new home ground for the Scorpions, and that the Borough will stand-alone...but what other changes could we see? * A new side entering the comp? (Kangaroos aligned).. or perhaps the Roos playing list spread across more than one club. * The Grand Final being moved to a ground that will look full. * A state game against someone other than the WAFL or SANFL? (we have the bye) * A final 6 or final 5 system? * SER and SEN both continuing their coverage.
