    I thought that the telecast of West Coast v Sydney was bad - flick, flick, flick between cameras, close-ups allowing no idea where play was on the ground. Lots of play missed due to replays. But, the telecast of Tasmania v Bullants was appalling - mainly nostril shots and super-close-ups. It was very difficult to watch let alone try to work out where the action was.

    Andy Collins has stepped down as coach of Box Hill. Joined Cricket Victoria or something. That's a shame, he was really developing something, and i think it needed a few more years. Hopefully they pick the best coach, one who'll continue using talent from the EFL. Wonder if Hawthorn or Box Hill will make the choice? Maybe Gerald Fitzgerald. Nah, don't think he'd like the trip out.

  4. What should our goal be for the 2006 season?

    Should the aim be to make the finals? Make the final 4? Or just to blood the younger players on the list so we have a more experienced side in 2007? Perhaps the goal should be 9 wins, which would have us close the the final 8.

  5. VFL Reserves GF - Williamstown vs Nth Ballarat

    Promises to be a terrific clash this one. Two weeks ago when these sides met the match was decided in extra time at Point Gellibrand oval. Todd Medallist Steve Dinnell will be in action for the Roosters, and they appear to have a good mix of experience and youth in their side. Blokes like Gavin Miller, Danny Grellet and Ayden George always seem to play well when I see the Roosters. The rucks with Orren Stephenson and Nick Bye facing off against AFL draftee in waiting Scott Meyer from Williamstown will be a terrific battle as well.
