2. Werribee Officials

Forums:
It appears the Werribee Football Club have phobias about their ¼ time and ¾ time huddles. After persisiting with roping off their huddle for the last two seasons, it was very disappointing today to see two uncooperative Werribee Football Club officials not allow Casey Radio's Phil Pearce inside the rope to provide an important service to their listeners. Even more disappointing to look at the delight on the face of the two ‘security guards’ watching the microphone being held from outside the rope.

4. ABC2 showing Tassie game

Forums:
Nice to see ABC2 show the Tasmania v Casey game on replay last week. Makes sense for them to show these games because they are of interest to people in Victoria and we have access to the local game both live and on replay every week anyway. Maybe in a few years time ABC2 will be able to show the games live in addition to the local game so that fans of these clubs who play away can still watch their side play. Hopefully they replay the Tassie v Bendigo game from tomorrow on ABC2 during next week.
5. Tribunal hands down 7 match ban

Nick Smith - Port Melbourne (Reserves) Guilty of Striking - 7 match suspension Gotten through without much fuss this one, but a full investigation took place into an incident last weekend in the reserves match against Coburg. I was there and can't recall anything on the day but certainly one for the newshounds to follow up as I would be the most severe suspension dished out by the VFL tribunal in the modern era.
