  1. Umpires for the GF?

    Forums:
Well I have to say I wasnt impressed with umpire #4 yesterday, stands out cos he has long gangly arms and legs but I thought he made some poor decisions. Those two marks paid on the grandstand wing with kicks that went about 8m were terrible. Troy McCarthy did umpire yesterday and given he was umpire of the year I'm sure he gets a gig on Friday night. To some of the guys who saw both weekend games, who would your three be?
  2. How many tickets sold for GF?

    Forums:
On the Big Footy forums thse seem to know on a daily basis the number of tickets sold prior to the AFL finals games . Can someone find out the total sold so far for the VFL GF?
  3. 2008 Grand Final

    Forums:
Well, here it is. After a year of 14 sides battling it out, we are left with the last two, and only one will be Premiers. On the other hand, there are a few at NorthBall that deserve to see a win, not the le
  4. SEN covering Prelim Finals

    Forums:
Noticed today that SEN were covering the VFL. Tony Schibecci commentating and a very hoarse Mark Stone was providing special comments. Anybody realise they were going to be doing that?
  5. Williamstown - Prelim Final Chokers?

    Forums:
I'll be as popular as a wine stain on white carpet probably but there is no avoiding the fact that today was yet another loss for Williamstown in a Preliminary Final. They've caved in at Prelim Final stage in 2006, 2007 and now 2008. Great achievement to get there again, but when you fall at the last hurdle so frequently you surely need to analyse why it happens. The past two years much of the blame, at least from an outsiders perspective, was on the Magpies.
