    Werribee goes Global

The Werribee Football Club will break new ground with supporters all over the world able to watch the Tigers first two home games on the club website. Whether you are in Watton Street, Paris, Berlin or anywhere in Australia for a nominal fee of $5 you can see the game live.

This is a joint project between the Werribee Football Club and rivusTV. The club has already done a test during training and is excited at the thought of the Gold Coast and Collingwood games going live on the net.

  2. A Club with a Great Sense of History

I really enjoyed this on the Box Hill Hawks website:

Congratulations to the Club for completing such a fantastic project. Reading that list of names certainly brought back some great memories.

I wonder how many other VFL CLubs have legends lockers in their players rooms?

    Not too many I'll bet.

    Herald-Sun

CASEY Scorpions VFL captain Kyle Matthews is in intensive care at The Alfred hospital after he was punched outside a Hawthorn hotel last night.

Matthews, 24, suffered a slight skull fracture and swelling of the brain after the incident outside the Geebung Polo Club in Auburn Rd.

He fell on to the road, with a witness describing the sound as “like a coconut hitting the ground’’.
