Box Hill v Sandy
Body:
Due to Easter celebrations and festivities, i was only able to wander down for the first half, but i got a fair picture of how the match went. Hate to say it, but Nick Sautner really is looking quite good. Sure he got a couple of easy ones, including a free we stupidly gave away, sure he took a dive, but we just shouldn't have gone near him, but he did take a couple of impressive grabs, especially in the pocket during the second term. Sandy just looked so strong, and it's pretty much their VFL players leading the way. Liddell, Poyas, Rigoni, Lamb, Crowe, who seems to have bulked up this year, mixed with the likes of Johnson, Bate and Holland, they just controlled the match. Not on the scoreboard at first, i was amazed we were actually in front for a while, whilst Sandy dominated. Our forward line had no real structre, MAtt Little is looking alright, and Boyle was great against Willy, but their's no robust, tough at it tall forwards, such as Alleway, and we are really going to struggle to post winning scores this year. Unfortunately, Franklin wasn't able to get into the game unlike the practise match against Werribee, and Sandy moved the ball a lot quicker, meaning their forwards had a lot more space to lead into. We have just played the 2 potential grand finalists, so i won't get too upset, we've got Coburg and Springy in the next couple of weeks, so we might get a clearer indication of where we're at. Barracking for Richmond and Box Hill in 2006 reads Wins:0 Losses:5 Could be a long winter...
