Preliminary Finals Preview
Body:
Here is the previews for this weekend. There is a good chance that stations 774 ABC Melbourne, 1116 SEN and 3AW could be covering the games as well. SATURDAY Geelong vs North Ballarat at TEAC Oval,Port Melbourne 1:10pm(ABC TV, Casey Radio, 3XX 1611) This should be an interesting clash between the high flying Cats and the never say die Roosters. Geelong have beaten the Roosters in both meetings this year and are now premership favorites but how can you count the Roosters after their last 6 quarters of footy. The Cats AFL contingent could be the difference come days end. Meetings in 2007: Round 4 Sunday April 29th Skilled Stadium Geelong 18-17(125) def North Ballarat 9-11(65) (Grima(Geel) 5 goals, Sansbury(NB) 3 goals) Tenace and Josh Hunt best for the Cats, Lower and Trotter best for the Roosters Round 18 Saturday 11th August Austar Arena Geelong 21-15(141) def North Ballaray 10-10(70) (Gardiner(Geel) 5 goals, Urch(NB) 3 goals) West and Josh Hunt best for the Cats, Feery and Lower best for the Roosters. My Tip: Geelong by 27 points SUNDAY Williamstown vs Coburg Tigers at TEAC Oval,Port Melbourne 1:10pm(ABC TV,Casey Radio, 3XX 1611) The Seagulls are coming off a week off after their thrilling win against the Zebras. The Tigers are coming off a work man like win against the Borough. Coburg thrashed the Seagulls in their one and only meeting back in July. A lot has happened since then and this should be a cracker of game hopefully in front of a big crowd. Only Meeting in 2007: Round 14 Sunday 15th July Coburg City Oval Coburg Tigers 15-14(104) def Williamstown 5-8(38 ) (Kingsley(Cob) 5 goals, Ryan Cook(Will) 2 goals) Krakouer and Sewell best for the Tigers, Nicholls and Picken best for the Seagulls. My Tip: Coburg Tigers by 3 points
