Well at half time i couldn't help myself.
I went up and spoke to the umpire advisor and i said to him how bad Damien Sully is as an umpire and his a cheat.
They said to me well for 1 his not a cheat and that they went out on the ground and spoke to damien and the issue was he wasn't getting into the correct positions that is why he missed alot free kicks in the first half.
But i must say for a so called experienced AFL umpire how can this keep happening i'm sick of it and it changes the course of a game not good enough.
One can only look at the footage of the 2004 grand final to see what i'm getting at.
Why can't umpires let the game flow and stop looking and hunting for free kicks i'm sick of it it's no surprise people don't wana watch footy any more.
Apart from that i thought Port had a real good crack at Preston not everything went our way but that's footy.
I would be more worried if we got smashed by 10 or more goals or maybe 20 goals.
The burra are playing good footy Ayres is doing a fantastic job and we have alot of great spirit down at the club which can do wonders for a footy club.
Bring on Coburg Go Port
You would not want to be the umpire when Port plays Williamstown. Doomed before they start. !!!
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
That would be right with the bullants sqaud all they care about is stuiped carlton in the Afl but its there business but all it shows that it is poor support. If port melbourne had of won there would of been a 100% roar.
About the siren? Wow 24 mins to 25 mins thats nothing in a quarter should be atleast 27 mins in each quarter dosent matter how many goals have been kicked or not should be all fair in square with the time each quarter.
But i just think the boroughs need more better forwardline players and better goalkicking practise. Will defently help with everything but lets hope the borough will win and play well next match.
And dont worry about willamstown being on top and North ballart 3rd, let them be cocky and win all the time then they will choke in the finals.
Did a second post by mistake sorry guys.
Dont like split rounds that much.
I rather round after round.
Strewth Bobby....you reckon North Ballarat have choked the last 2 seasons???
They have 2 premierships to prove they didn't.
Sandy. The most successful club in the past 30 years
I'm not blaiming the umpires for our lost,ok there a free kicks we should have got and also the Bullants probably should have too.It is the clowns in charge that tell them what to pay.We had our chances in the last quarter to nail it but missed some easy shots for goal.It was a great effort by Port to get back into the game in the 3rd quarter to be in front at 3 quarter time. The first half we had a battle as the Bullants seamed to have the upperhand. We have alot of young players as well some seasoned players and Gary Ayers has them playing a good brand of footy. We lost a few experiened players from last years squad and had to replace these guys.So I think we have done well to be where we are.It it is hard when some alingnments get experinced players from their AFL clubs that are droppped back.We have just have to put up with this and compete as best as we can as this is the system of the VFL at the time. We are yet to play North Ballarat,Casey & Collingwood this year so we will find out if we are up to these teams when we play them.
