Port Melbourne’s 2011 premiership cup has been nicked.

And whether it was genuine theft, a joke, or misplaced – club officials are desperate to get it back.

They’ve put out a plea to the public.

Jen Pryor, the VFL club’s vice-president, spoke with Tom Elliott about it on Tuesday.

I admire the clubs efforts in retrieving this (Police, traditional form of media as well as social media) etc etc however I have a feeling that the club will have to order a replica.

Hopefully it does get returned and we can put this issue to bed - the club has stated that whoever returns it will not be questioned (that includes you Williamstown folk) :D !

Digs would have us know that if we were like North Ballarat then it would never have been lost in the first place as it would be in a highly secured trophy cabinet for all to see !
