At a guess I would think that the official Port Melbourne facebook page will have updates as that is what they do in the season proper. Not going tomorrow otherwise I would be happy to post the updates here for you.

Saw that Sandringham had only scored 0.2.2 to 3/4 time against Werribee, going down to the Tigers 100-22.
Werribee had 15 Nth Melbourne players (and six in their devt team I believe), and from the look of it Sandy had precious few Saints playing.
Same with Essendon beating Geelong on Friday, I think the Cats had three listed players while most of Essendon's team seemed to be from their AFL list.
Sandy played the TAC kids as the senior Saints players have a week off so its not as bad as it looks and it gave the kids a run against quality players
Werribe had 18 North players the likes of Daw ,Ben Brown ,Lachie Hansen Scott Thompson playing and Sandy no Saints players at all
Dont forget the Zebras have only a few senior VFL standard players on their list.Saving money?
It was strange to be paying big coin for some big name players the past few years when the alignment was coming to an end. That money could have been used to prepare for life after St Kilda, so good to see them on the right track now for when that day inevitably comes.
Hopefully that day comes sooner rather than later as I know many that would love to see another vfl club return to slightly offset the Afl dominance of the league. It's been talked about for a long time and I think it is getting to the point of now or never. Coburg has shown that it can be done.
Back to the practice matches. Port has gone down to Casey Demons (rip scorpions) by 44 points with Nahas scoring 4. I wouldn't read too much into this when I suspect Port would have been experimenting and wouldn't have put out a side representative of what round one will look like. Also unsure of how many Afl players were playing.
Did you ever Stop to suggest that Casey may have done the same as Port ??
Stop looking for excuses.
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
Anyone head down to casey?
what did our lineup look like and did we get through it unscathed?
