There is a few unknowns at Willy and Box Hill seem to win early on in the season against the Seagulls away. The seagulls usually extract revenge winning away at Box Hill. Maybe the seagulls can win this one in a close game. There is a couple of dolphins still at Williamstown and hopefully Lachie George will do well in his first year with the seagulls after crossing from North Ballarat. The tough in and under player will be very handy and also add plenty of experience. Will also good to see David Mirra crack it for a game with Hawthorn sometime throughout the season.

Stangsational!

Was a great start to the season after some patchy practice match form. For some reason we always seem to start well out at Willy, think that makes 4 or 5 in a row we've won out there despite dealing with that wind!

Went up to the post game function event and there was a fair bit of yak and chat about Ben Jolly not playing for the Seagulls. Seems like a lot of the supporters weren't happy he was dropped! Looks like they don't have the same quality recruits as previous years so surprised he wasn't picked.

For the Stangs young Jimmy Cousins is going to be quite the player, played a ripping game!

I think that's six in a row Stanga, don't worry if it follows the usual pattern then Willy will win at Box Hill, quite bizarre.Interesting with Jolley, maybe the hot weather and lack of pace counted against him,i just hope for such a great player he hasnt gone one season too many, time will tell.
