Another strong side picked by Port after last weeks impressive win against Richmond.

Robin Nahas out.. The injury list hasn't been updated on the Port Melbourne website.  Hopefully nothing major. He played out the full game last week so hopefully its just general soreness / player management.

Matt Arnott against selected, fair chance he will get a run this week.

Anastasio and the 23rd man, Ash Krakauer look like making their Port Melbourne debuts.  I've only seen Krakauer on a couple of occasions, but has good pace and could provide a lot of excitement... And after kicking 4 goals last week in the DL, maybe Haretuku will come in for Kelso, who admittedly hasn't done much wrong.

Good win by Port today. Was a testing match which I thought that the deciding factor was Essendons inability to capitalize in the 3rd quarter after having the majority of the ball in their 50 for that quarter. Templeton continues to be a stand out and Ports pressure and defence much improved from last year. Their will be much celebration down Bay St tonight as Port goes 4- 0 as they are looking good for the time being but keeping in mind a marathon is never won after the 5k mark. GO PORT !!!!!;;

Thanks Mega, I had to work, so never got to go.  I watched the live scores, and it sounds like another solid performance.

Next week at home against Footscray should be another tough contest.  Port's record against Footscray is poor since they rejoined the competition.

Yeah they were always a tough lot to play against. If we beat Footsecray and we go 5-0 then I believe that we are a genuine top 4 team. Having said that, I have been saying that we are a top 4 side before first bounce of round 1 and with the lack of injuries so far all looks promising. Won't say too much too soon as things can easily change. Good start but it isn't how you start that matters. It's how you finish!!!!!!!!!!!
