Didn't see much of the game Bearsman as I was working as usual at home matches, but i did see him get a few touches. At the luncheon, it was stated that he had the fastest beep test of any player in the AFL or VFL, impressive.

From the website 'Josh Pickess played his first senior game with the club after two impressive Development matches, showing great acceleration and poise off half back.'

You would think he'd need a couple of hitouts after 12 months off with a broken leg. Will develop into a top line VFL player. Hes got all the tools...speed, poise, great hands, great kick.

His previous coach played him mostly in the forward line and he did kick goals, but I liked him better on a wing or half back where he could run and carry.

Good pick up by Willy.
