Speaking of games this weekend tonight an old vfa ground westgarth street oval now known as bill lawry oval will light up. First night game at the ground when northcote park play west preston lakeside. I'll take some photos and text them to Northport who can upload them here.

Just had a peep at Port's 2s.

Includes Templeton, Golby, Batssanis, Valenti, Dwyer, Haretuku, Osborne and Van Unen.

Seriously extracting the urine.

Would have to be odds on to win by 20 goals

Wow...some serious talent there. Makes you wonder if Van Unen will get a regular game this year? Good enough to be drafted and get a game for Essendon, but might not make it at Port this year.

A number of those games are also named in the senior squad, so they won't all play devt, but it will still be a very good devt team for Port this year.

With a lineup like that port reserves would be shorter odds than winx for the flag

Ive been going to Point Gellibrand for over 50 years following Sandy and 90% of the time the weather was just shocking and the Zebras would have a very poor win % as well even down the ladder Willy sides would knock us off.

I think most VFA clubs would have had a similar result at WCG.

The wind was so strong  at the grandstand end one day the fullback kicked and it nearly came back over his head.

The Zebras would be happy with those results considering the playing conditions.
