What an amazing development League game at Casey Fields

casey lead Sandy 4-7 to 0-3 at Half time

sandy's 1st goal 1 min into 3rd quarter and end up kicking 8 goals in 3rd Qtr to take lead. Kicked 2 more in the last to post an amazing 22 point win. Casey 6-13(49) Sandringham 10-11(71).

Lions failed to raise a roar in the Battle of Bell Street on Vicky Cleary Day. 

Last season it was close losses which we bemoaned. This years it's poor starts. Three from three in that regard and Northern Blues didn't look back after quarter time. Reckon Daisy did enough to warrant a return if Carlton want to select him. Having said that, the shock win over Sydney couldn't have come at a worse time for the veteran. 

Happy that our Development boys sang the song. Hopefully with such an even playing list, we will be able to promote boys who are in form to the VFL side and won't need to step up too much. Would like to see Iacobaccio back in the defensive 6 of the VFL team ASAP.
