I may get ridiculed, but I think the Coburg v Port is a real danger game for the Borough.

Coburg aren't too far off the pace, with a number of close finishes this season.

I love getting along to one of the great suburban grounds and am really looking forward to Saturday. Experienced ruckman Tom Goodwin likely to win at the centre bounces giving Coburg first use, but I expect Waddell and Haretuku to have the edge around the ground.

Both coburg and north ballarat have been edging closer for that elusive win. Coburg finished off well to go down by 9 points against carlton seconds. North ballarat did likewise against the undefeated box hill. I reckon both will notch a few upset wins in coming weeks. Who and where ?? Not sure but they both will.

Not rediculed here NorthPort - I was thinking the same thing. They are very competitive when they are on and they will win sooner or later. Truth is as Casey showed we are not unbeatable and if they play well at home it could be a close game. They have given us some good tussles in recent times but of course hoping for a easy win to the Borough after the last 3 testing games.

37 times Grand finalists
16 times premiers
21 times runners up - THE MIGHTY BOROUGH!

Lions trailed 99-55 about ten minutes into the final term. Blues took the foot off the gas and we rattled home with the last 5 goals of the game.

Positive was we finished off strong. Negative was we couldn't compete with them from halfway through the second until the third term siren. They kicked 9 out of 10 goals. We couldn't lay a glove during that time.
