STILL waiting Mega !!
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
Digs - my pal HAPPY SUNDAY !!!!! In regards to your query - theirs been millions spent on venue improvements in recent years at Northport Oval Digs which have been previously documented on this site. I'm sure that if you were that willing to find out, you could do a search through some posts and find the information you are after which is probably the right thing to do rather than letting your obsession of the great Port Melbourne Football club turn this thread into something it wasn't meant to be - another Port topic.

THE VFLS MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB - THE MIGHTY PORT MELBOURNE BOROUGH!
I'M PORT MELBURNE BORN, I'M PORT MELBOURNE BRED, I'LL BE PORT UNTIL I'M DEAD!!!
More spin than Eddie Maguire Mega.
The TRUE answer is Jack S**t as many other posters have stated.
If YOU read the posts on this topic you'll find that it was not me that initiated this discussion out of topic.!
Because of the Lockdown the remaining light towers will not go up now until at least mid September
In some great news at SkyBus Stadium
Bryan Mace Grandstand has been repainted
The new fence and netting is up at Social club end with some new sponsors
The final 2 light towers are going up should be completed by tomorrow
The final bank of lights were installed at SkyBus Stadium today.
Can't wait for night footy at ground in 2021
They look amazing Robbo.....it's great coming into town on the Nepean Highway and seeing a couple of the towers looming above everything. This should be a great thing for not only the club, but for footy on the peninsula in general.
For those interested in SkyBus Stadium lights
It will cost the club $62000 next year
Club can only use lights 6 times at full 1000 lux - mainly for TV Broadcasts
Games can played at 500 lux
Training at 100 or 200 lux
The club are looking making Friday night football a regular event there whether it be Frankston games or MPNFL Games etc.
Also looking at the possibility of hosting MPNFL Preliminary and Grand Finals in 2021 under lights.
Expect big crowds. The games under lights should bring in quite a few $$ Robbo. Wish we could get a state game down there under lights.
* It's time to restore the VFA name.
Frankston likely to have a practice game vs Northern Bullants under lights at SkyBus Stadium on Thursday March 25
First of many Friday night games at SkyBus Stadium ON Friday April 9 With MPNFL match Frankston YCW vs Pines
Testing of the lights due to happen sometime next month
