When GWS plays in Victoria especially at Frankston, Port or Williamstown they will find it very hostile.
McGilligan's team will find it very tough going on and off the field.
Could be a great afternoon's entertainment especially at Kars street when Gilligan's GWS get thrashed !!!
If the Victorian Clubs have to pay to fly to Brisbane and Sydney they wil go broke in one season!
As per the Box Hill and Hawthorn Twitter feeds - The alignment will continue between the two clubs in 2021.
Billy, the AFL have already said that they will pick up the tab for the cost of travel and accommodation. It appears this has all come about because the two QLD and NSW AFL clubs felt the NEAFL was not competitive enough and their Magoos were beating the other teams in the comp far too easily
Watching those 400 waiting to board the plane north reminded me of the inimitable Mark Lathams' quote "a conga line of suckholes"
North Port, you can rest assured the Hawthorn Box Hill Dawks alignment will continue,ie until Dingley is finished, then you wont see em for dust as they'll have no need for City Oval then.
With the Saints as usual $12 million in the red They will need to keep the deal with Sandringham going.
Surely Sandringham started laying the ground work for running as a standalone club in 2020. If the Saints are that far in debt surely the Zebras can start laying down a few ground rules and have an 'exit strategy' in place if St Kilda don't play ball.
You would hope so NorthPort but Im not holding my breath!
It now appears that Sydney University, Redlands, Canberra Demons and Southport Sharks may yet make a bid for entry into the revised compeition.
There is a story in todays Hun!
