Always an event well worth attending.
There were probably a few less at the meeting than in the last couple of years.
Main Points were:
* The club again posted a good profit for the year.
* Thanked the football staff and players for their performance in 2004.
* Thanked TEAC for their ongoing support of the club.
* Club donated money and equipment to local clubs including Port Colts and the Oakleigh Chargers
* The club will re-establish the 12/10 Rule for 2005, (which I believe is a good move). It will create some selection headaches with the Kangaroos using the maximum number of normal and rookie listed players, which could mean seeing as many as 10 or so Roos players in our twos... Interesting to see how it works out.
Other bits of news are:
* Kangaroos affiliated memberships are up significantly
* Tim Hazell and Ben Robbins officially signed by the club for 2005
* Ghazi spoke briefly to the members, and was impressive. Wished him all the best for 2005.
