I'll be at the game as usual. It would be great to see Paul O'Shea given a game, his form in the reserves has been superb so far this year and although he won't get an AFL game with the Bulldogs this year, he's a good prospect for the future.

Milly on the bench? Pitt at Half Back Flank? Ghazi taking the piss?

Sadi has lost the plot. Who will win the footy for them? He makes changes for the sake of making changes. I think someone has to stand upto him. If the President is worth his salt he would sack him ASAP. If he wanted to make sweeping changes maybe change the on ball division and give others more time on there. Boots might get a whole game on there this week. As a Port supported I am getting very embarrassed and feel sorry for some of our players. I pose this question. Of the players dropped and the others been given little opportunity, tell me why they should stay at Port Melbourne. It could become a mass walkout at the end of the year. the players given a poor go and might take there services elsewhere: 1. Pitt 2. Boots 3. Tobes 4. Shaw 5. Langford 6. Kelly 7. Bonnas And this is only the 'ones' type players.

Port Melbourne currently only offer 1 year coaching contracts, so I think there would probably be a bit of pressure on him already, but lets not write-off the season just yet though ExtendtheDukes. Team balance is always difficult, and with only 22 spots, good players are always going to miss out. Lets see how we match up against the Tigers first. I do share some of your concern about ball winners in the middle... Centre breaks this season for us have been very poor and it will be one of those key areas we need to massively improve on if we are to be a winning chance in these remaining three games.

David, would you declare this season unsuccesful should Port not make the Finals?

It's a final 8 in a 13 team competition, you can lose more games than you win and still finish playing finals in the VFL. I think Ghazi and coaching panel recruited very well. They just haven't got enough out of the playing list.

You #$%ing beauty! Werribee 5.1 7.6 11.8 15.11 (101) Port Melbourne 8.2 10.6 15.7 16.14 (110) GOALS: Werribee: Podsiadly 6 Robbins 2 Street Faulkner Gardiner Batchelor Gleeson Castello Baird Port Melbourne: Dukes 4 Cotchett 4 Pitt 3 Pleming Rowe Nahas McGlynn Smith BEST: Werribee: Street Faulkner Sheringham Baird O'Shea Podsiadly Port Melbourne: Cotchett Spriggs Pearce McMahon Pitt Baird REPORTED PLAYERS: Werribee: Nil Port Melbourne: D. Robbins (Port Melbourne) for bumping or making forceful contact to D. Gleeson (Werribee). A vastly improved effort from a switched-on Port Melbourne, who were playing with a spirit lacking in recent outings. The midfield worked extremely hard, and Port clearences from the centre must have been significantly up. I'll write up more later, but club looked like a far more cohesive unit and accordingly played some very good football. Just a quick question, why is bumping, or making forceful contact reportable? If it's to the head then fair enough.. but surely the charge isn't that general is it?

Good win by the Borough, Werribee I believe have been dissapointing this season and are capable of more! I'm probably glad that they probably wont fetur in september. A massive game looms with Williamstown next weekend who have almost been in freefall over the second half of the year! Please ons, get your mob over the line and open up a Top 4 chance for our boys!
