did he fall....or was he pushed???
Doesn't say one way or the other. I guess the year to year contract was not renewed. Ads to be placed in Inside Football. Hopefully advertising goes into the three major Saturday newspapers as well.
is jarrod malloy a possible candidate for the job?
I'd say he'd be in the running. Good knowledge of the U18 system Good knowledge of the Oakleigh Chargers and as a follow on most of the kids on Port Melbourne's list Good communicator Semi recently out of the AFL system (still has contacts with AFL players) Understands the modern game

Jarrod Malloy approached the club some time ago. Word is he is favourite for the role!

Enjoyed the interview with Saade Ghazi on SEN last night. I agreed with several of the points made during the interview. Fair enough if they didn't want to continue with him coaching in 2008, but the timing of the decision was poor. At least wait until the season has finished. I personally think that Ghazi had got as much out of the players as he was likely to, and maybe another coach might help make them take the next step. But! He points out that the way the club operates can throw up some issues that can make coaching the Borough more complex. I'm not sure quite what was meant by that, but he stated that he rarely spoke to the President unless it was a scheduled meeting. Ghazi also pointed out that his "can't win a premiership" comment applied with the current salary cap restrictions, and he believed the cap would need to be massively increased for Stand-alone clubs to be able to compete.

Molloy to Box Hill . . . wouldn't that be great! Rohan Welsh could be another possibility for Port Melb / Box Hill coaching roles!
