Port Melbourne Coach
So who's it going to be? I'll vote for Barry Mitchell.

I reckon they will want a reasonably high profile Coach. Wouldn't be at all suprised to see someone out of the AFL.

Gary Ayers appointed coach, just saw it on the VFL website! Wow! Didn't see that coming! Seems like a pretty good get!

If the clubn was looking for a coach with AFL experience then Ayres certainly fits the bill. Coahed Geelong to a Grand Final, Adelaide to the finals over 3 seasons, assistant coach at Adelaide later on and spent time at Essendon too.

I very surprised at that appointment. He goes in and trys to kill football clubs as he did with Geelong and Adelaide.

I believe that Aryes is a fantastic appointment - fresh out of the main game- has ideas, and with the way he used to coach - at VFL level he would be very competitive. He is a leader of men and thats exactley what Port need to go alone and have the us against them attitude - he will take Port a long way. Well done Port - a great get.

Well done to Port, a great apointment......
He goes in and trys to kill football clubs as he did with Geelong and Adelaide.
Can't quite understand this Robbo??? Especially from a normally conservative poster........

A good get for both Port and the competition. Can't recall too many high profile exVFL/AFL coaches going to the VFA/VFL.
