Ok, another year goes by without breaking the premiership drought. However, there have been plenty of positives for Port this year that should still give the Borough faithful plenty to be excited about for 2009.
This is the thread for those positives.
For starters, I thought Sam Dwyer continued to improve as the season went on. In 2009 I hope he will be in for a huge year.
Patrick Hassett came into the senior side late in the season and certainly made his presence felt... He played like he had been there all year.
Mullins who was in and out of the side on a few occasions also improved strongly.
Moving David Pitt up onto the wing really freed him up, and he played the role well. If he plays on next season will he be in that position again?
