Pleasant day for a hit out...Can't remember the final score but Sandy won by 4-5 goals I think....
Not particularly worried about the practice matches....the previous 2 years Sandy didn't win a pre season match and went on to win the Flag...so it worries me that we won today!
Great to see Chad Liddell back and throwing himself around...did 2 excellent smothers...Rigoni looked the goods...Chris Lamb has lost nothing from having a year off....Sautner is the real suprise packet...lost a heap of weight...leading well...marking and kicking well....a couple of the younger guys coming through also look good
But...it's only a Practice Match which means bugger all in the washup at the end of the seaon,..look at Carlton last year...win the pre season cup and end up on the bottom of the ladder...
Just waiting for the real stuff to begin
