Heard a rumor that Williamstown could be playing at the Whitten Oval next year.

I think vfa told me something similar a couple of weeks ago when we were down there for the Round 20 game. Those works are way overdue down there, the quicker they get onto them the better. Whitten Oval would be alright for 12 months.

Williamstown ground is set to be revamped after the cricket season with the seagulls playing at Footscray in 2009. CGull will know a bit more.

Its no rumor!!!! its true!!!! Whwn Burbank ovel is being redeveloped we willl play some of our home games at Whitten Oval Willimastown is one of the oldest and most successfull clubs in the VFL. They will never change their colours. Wouldn't happen in a billion uears. They are blue and gold and will remain so. The Willy theme song has been a difficult one over the past few years. We are Williamstown Forever, In Blue and Gold we play the game. We stand as one we dont surrender, to uphold the segulls name / fame See the opposistion jeering They cant keep us down Cause they know they've been playing the mighty Williamstown This probably wasn't the best move and thats coming from a Collingwood supporter. This years has grown on me a bit. At the start i dis liked it and the players themselves couldn't sing it nor did they know the words lol

Is it going to be the Williamstown Bulldogs? The Western Bulldogs are a good match for Willamstown. Why? They both always choke in Preliminary Finals.

Terrific - I return home next June after being overseas and missing the last 3 seasons, and I cant even watch Willy at Morris St !! Cant stand the Whitten Oval - Willy played Werribee a couple of times there in the late 1990"s. Remember David Round playing for Willy one of those games with Saade Ghazi - cant be too often a player has played with both a father (Barry) and son. David had the same kicking style as his dad.
