They will never change their colours.
They wore Black and White jumpers in the early 2000's at the MCG when they were playing curtain-raisers  But the move to Whitten Oval for a year is a good move if it will get the redevelopments done quicker.

I agree, I always saw them in Williamstown jumpers even the ones that were more games with Collingwood.

I watched Box Hill play Yarraville at the Western Oval (as it was then) in 1983 - Yaraville's last season in the VFA. If I remember rightly Les Twentyman was captain coach of Yarraville?? There was a hurricane blowing to the southern goals, I swear one of the Box Hill players kicked a goal from the Doug Hawkins wing.

It was a stupid thing to do, and i didnt go to the game.

Disgraceful wearing the germ colours. They were poisoned and left a lot of supporters sick in the stomach. They did it against Carlton in a curtain raiser at the MCG in 2001. To also adopt that spastic Collingwood song was another stupid thing the seagulls did. It will take the seagulls a few more years to rid of all the Collingwood germs. At least the bulldogs connection isn't that bad. Still would love to see the seagulls be a stand alone in the future. Have they enough balls ???? Footscray have stated they want to be stand alone down the track if they can muster enough cash. This would be great for the comp as you would have three teams from the west, Williamstown, Werribee and Footscray.

Would like to see Seagulls stand alone, not sure how the finances are though.

So is Williamstown playing at the WO for 2009 a done deal?
I thought that when the WO development was done it only had one changing room built so as not to be able to host games there.

I would be happy to see a few games there though but the lack of a scoreboard would be a problem.
