Nah, i was just next to that, his mate had a tear in is eye as he tried to talk the cops into letting his mate go. What'd he do? Did anyone else see the little kid run onto the ground in the last term, only for an embarrassed dad to run on and retrieve him? That'd be $6000 at Telstra Dome! How come whenever i go to Sandy, them's the conditions? Thought it must be the norm. Always leave soggy! But happy!
Good to hear it wasn't you getting carted off by the constabulary STANGA. I was up in the social club doing the radio broadcast, so I've no clue why the guy was taken away by the cops. And I must say we all missed the little kid running onto the ground. Did u see the Hells Angels group ride past on Beach Round in the second quarter? That seems ominous now, considering what happened in Melbourne yesterday. I tell you, just on the conditions at TBO, was very difficult to commentate, the rain was pelting down onto the social club windows and I know that I could hardly see myself, yet Chris Weaver, one of my co-commentators, commentated without binoculars, how I do not know.

Ozybeer..you jogged my memory of the day and I reckon you are correct about Sandy winning by 1 point and Frankston slipped out of the final eight

A Travis Johnston grubbed kick out of a pack went through for a point, giving Sandy the lead for the first time. Frankston finished 9th on percentage.

How sweet it was to win an "away" game that was at "home"!

if I remember rightly...Frankston kicked 5 goals in the 1st half and not another goal for the day...Sandy didn't score a goal in the 1st half and kicked 5 after half time....howling gale...wet....I think that was the game....

Sandy. The most successful club in the past 30 years
