Molan looked good...On paper
Molan was probably the luckiest guy on earth when he was Drafted by Melbourne at 9. But then the luck turned on him more than anybody could ever imagine. A really good bloke who was just haunted by injury and bad luck. Don't think he was ever a "Big Name" though, if that was the point of your comment.

Yeah bit harsh on Molan. There was a big article on him in the Age last week and he copped bad injury after bad injury. Turns out he was a hero for Spotswood in the GF in the Footscray District league this year

Mick Ablett is back where he should be.A absolute gun at this level and will no doubt pick up the level of the game very quickly. Read in the local paper Christian Ongarello is returning from overseas and Craig Black is returning to the club as a midfield coach. Another player likely to return is Matty Burns from Sorrnto in the MPNFL where he has spent the last year playing in the premiership team coached by Troy Schwartze. If shannon Grant can get 2-3 ex team mates to come down Frankston are in for a big year and a little birdie told me delisted saint Jaydyn Attard may be playing there next year also as he trained there 3 years ago before he was drafted by the Lions.
That'd be good if he does, the booming left footer! I think it was earlier this year that Matt popped on here and posted a couple of times to give his side of the story I guess, certainly impressed me with that.

I was somewhat intoxicated but I'm sure I saw Stephen Tingay having dinner with one of the Frankston boys last night. Maybe just a friend, or work colleague, but it got me wondering is Tingay involved down there as a fitness coach?

tingay has not shown his head yet and the fitness coach there is doing a good job if i may say so, ive heard up to 5 player are over the 15 in the beep and upwards of 10 under 11 minutes on the frankston 3km track(which is tougher then a flat one). good signs for 09

Should help them run their games out better. It would be fair to say Frankston struggled in last quarters this season - won 7 and lost 13 in the H&A season and had quite a few games where they only kicked a goal or two and let the opposition kick five goals plus.

Seems a given that Limbach is off to Keilor.

Hopefully Frankston have a replacement goalkicker in mind!! And a ruckman too hey Dolph ;)

How many did LImbach kick last year?

38 from 18 matches. 4th on Frankston's goalkicking last year. Kicked 12% of Frankston's total goals for the year.
Contributed at least one goal in 16 games.

Still significant. It's two goals a game you'll need to get elsewhere.
