Round 11 Preview.
Body:
The Bullants play Springvale at Dandenong this week in what shapes as a must game for both sides. The loser will itself on the bottom while winner will still have a fluker's chance of sneaking into the 8. Callan Beasy, Jarrod Waite and Setanta O'Hailpan are out of the side that lost to Frankston last week. Beasy and Waite go up to the AFL while it would appear that O'Hailpan is injured, if he is it must have happened at training as he played the full game without problem last week. Coming in are Daniel Harford, Andrew Walker and Ricky Mott; all 3 played for Carlton last weekend. The last time these sides met, Springvale won by around 5 goals, after leading by over 50 pts at half time. The 2nd quarter perfromence of the Bullants was one of the worst I've seen by the club, with Springvale kicking 8 goals to 1 against a howling gale. Stephen Milne had 6 by half time but struggled to get a kick on Anthony Franchina in the 2nd half. Long time Bullants coach Mark Williams announced in the week following the game that he wouldn't be coaching the club in 2004. In 2004 both sides have given away height to opposing teams. However with ruckman Ricky Mott being available the Bullants should win despite playing away from home.
