The Bullants have kept their finals hopes alive with a 44-point win over Frankston at Cramer St, [aka NAB Oval]. The Bullants first and fourth quarters were the difference between the two sides, with Frankston's inaccuracy proving costly, especially in the first-half where they could manage only one major. It was a very even performance from the Bullants who needed to win, particuarly given results that saw Bendigo and Port Melbourne upset Williamstown and Werribee respectively. Digby Morrell and Lance Whitnall provided the Bullants with tall targets up forward, something that the Dolphins were missing. Josh Vansittart in his second game back from injury was also very good, other players to perform well for the Bullants were Ross Young, Justin Crow Brett Bransgrove and Anthony Raso. The Bullants have they bye next week with the reserves playing Coburg at Preston next Sunday. The game will be an opportunity to give players who haven't had alot of football recently a run before the must win game against Port Melbourne.
