 PK, Played well in the later part of season and helped the Zebras win that back to back premiership, the first time for Sandy. PK. is super fit runs all day and certainly has the qualities of a future coach later. His uncle is a former Zebra player Steve "Spider" Kennedy and now happily coach of the Sandringham Dragons so coaching is in the genes. If PK moves on again (SA??) he will always be most welcombe back at Zebraland. go zebs

why did he move to frankston?

:D pk. has coached basketball in Frankston for many years and knows a lot of local lads, but his heart and soul was to play footy for the zebras, he has done that and has his premiership but now feels he has more chance of a game at the dolphins. Really he would still get a game at Sandy this year but he does like the challenge at frankston as a few other former zebras have tried before and found out later to be sorry. but good luck to him and Toby we will expect them to really turn it on when we meet soon. go zebs

:D, Yeah sure ,Tim Scott- Brannigan,Mark Frater,Nick Sautner all premiership players with the Zebras left Sandy tried the greener pastures of Kars st. and no more success than if they had stayed and now Paul Kennedy and Toby Conroy think that moving away from Sandy they will carry the same momentum, sorry it won't happen! I will admit the Dolphins coaching and personal team managers have improved out of sight but it takes a lot more to make a complete turnaround. Look I know both these young fellas personally and wish them well but not playing against the Zebras. go zebs

I'd say "turning around" would be the winning of a premiership...or perhaps I'm way off beam... As Zebra said...two good young players following a few others who joined a team that had no success. Who knows...maybe this will be the year of the Dolphin...!!! and PK's and Conroy's moves to Frankston will be justified! Funny how Sautner and Scott-Branagan both ended up back at Sandy... Guess we must be doing something right

Sandy. The most successful club in the past 30 years

:D one good result from players opting Kars st. was young talented player former Zebra Chris Bryan picked up by AFL. Chris is a good kid still learning the ropes as most tall fellas do take time and hope he succeeds with his dream and later returns to Sandy. go zebs.

Guess we must be doing something right[/quote] Sautner was not required on the conditions he wanted and went to Preston. That is the fact. Both boys approached Frankston, not the other way around. It appears that Conroy was upset at having been left out of the Premiership side. And both boys have been signed on basically the same money they were on at Sandy. I'm hearing that it is possible that Conroy will play at Frankston even though he has signed a contract and desperately wants to stay, given the position taken by Sandy. Cutting off noses and spiting faces!!
