ANyone have any info on this bloke? thanks
burraburger
He was at Carlton in 2002 or 2003. But was delisted. Hes a midfielder and gets plenty of the ball. Must have played at about 60 VFL games and won the best and fairest at Sandy this year. Also named in VFL team of the year. Very good VFL player I think he'd do well if he was given another chance at AFL by Melbourne.

Yeah Damo it seems abit strange to me as well. I also heard he was struggling being away from his mates in Wangaratta but was convinced to stay by Mark Williams knowing they were a fair chance to go back to back. If he wanted money he wouldnt have to go interstate, plenty of country teams are cashed up so Id be suprised if he did leave Victoria. And hes training at Melbourne so maybe he'll get another shot at AFL.

Plus he was listed on the radio by a sturt official as an IN.

a genuine good bloke, one who was liked by all the players at sandy. his conundrum at the start of the year was that he was enrolled in a teaching course at a uni in albury, and had football commitments at sandringham. was desperately trying to have his uni transferred to melbourne, and eventually came to an arrangement of sorts.
