Sandy losing Melbourne emergencies?
Due to Melbourne playing in perth, i guess they are taking their emergencies, including nick smith in the squad, which could leave Sandy a little thin. Nothing you can do, other than make sure your VFL list is strong enough to cope with anomolies such as this.

I think the zebras have got enough vfl quality players to get them over the line. Maybe without Smith they might be a tall short. Should be a very even tussle. In Sandy's favour is that they have got a very good finals record which includes a big win over the bullants in last season's QF. You would think that Melbourne would take 2 emergencies over to Perth. Livingston will be out this week but Bryan will most likely come into the team.

Lets hope the bullants win by a point after the siren

More than bit stiff for Sandy, thw way things worked out. But with melbourne msiing a top 4 spot, the probability of them doing a fair bit of travelling was always high. I think Bower should come in if Livingston misses: BOG for the 2nds and impressive for Carlton.

With Melb. taking some necessary players to make a team in W.A. Sandy will feel the pinch and struggle early but that great Zebra finals spirit will show up and make a good game of it . Bullants definately favourites here but an upset by Sandy is on to make the Grand Final against old foes Williamstown. go zebs zebra :D

OK zebraman we finished on the bottom this year but not bad since 70 years ago since then we have won 12 flags for a total of 15.At least all these premierships were won as a standalone team . We are a proud club and at least had the balls to try to be a standalone club this year not like other clubs need afl clubs to help them win a premiership, pity frankston didnt go further to prove astandalone club can win a flag on thier own.Until your club has great history like port just keep quiet. You bag port melbourne, you also bag me so I wil start bagging your team as well. Go Borough!

Yes we are and will continue to enjoy the amalgimation with the Dee's for a very long time to come. We also remember 30-40 years ago Port having many then ex -VFL players in their teams playing against sides that had maybe 1 or 2 ex VFL and it was a no contest in many games and didn't your supporters gloat and rub in to the opposition then. How the wheel has turned. Stay a stand alone club but the nature of this competition is to allow affliiations and if you don't like it go to another league or start your own division. I really would hate that as the rivalry between Sandy and Port is great for the VFL and we know you support every team we play against as we support other teams you play against. so mote it be go zebs zebra

Zebra get your facts right 30-40years ago most of the players were locals that played with port and only a handfull ex vfl players plus every other clubs did the same you better refresh your memory Go Borough!
