Barry Mitchell
Must admit, I'm surprised Mitch is staying on at Carlton. But it's great news for the Bullants and from what I'm told he'll be able to spend more time in the VFL. It will also help the club keep a few players who were ``iffy'', big Diggers being one of them.

Harford's not gone yet, but he is ``iffy''. We'll keep every other player we want to keep, which probably isn't the case with your mob Dolphin

As for the activities at Frankston Park, I don't think you would actually know who the Dolphins would want to keep. But I can tell you that one was Chris Fortnam who has decided to step down to local footy as he can no longer give the time commitment with his career objectives.

``You know as well as I do, he's gone.''' He's 95 per cent, so let's just say I'm clinging to a five per cent chance he'll stay  What about Byron Murphy chief? Has he signed at Central District?

If he is set on going over, then I just hope they sign him before the OP really kicks in. He's a good kid.

How will Barry Mitchell coach the bullants next year now that he is not on great terms at Carlton ? Will he coach Preston as Preston or will he look only to build up Carlton. I suspect he will coach the Bullants with far more vigour next year and he won't care too much about the Carlton side of it. Let's hope so.

Barry Mitchell is employed by the Carlton Football Club, and his first responsibility, is the development, of the Carlton AFL players. However it is in his best interest for the Bullants to win a premiership.

He'll look after both groups well, as he did this year. Mitch is a pro.
