Pods, goalless for two weeks?
If someone saw the Bendigo / Werribee game today, can you tell me where Podsiadly played? If he was playing in the forward half, who played on him?

Ons, Pods began the game at FF, but due to poor delivery, Werribee's early inability to gain clearances and inside 50s, and the slippery conditions not being suited to Pods at ground level, Pods was moved back early in the second term. He only returned to CHF where he played in time-on for both the 3rd and 4th quarters. That said, credit must be given to his initial opponent, Sam Hunt, who was very impressive down back for the Bombers. Whilst down back, Pods held Bolton and Pendlebury goalless and was impressive at grund level, getting in-and-under and firing out some attacking handballs. However, it was another well below best performance from the competition's leading goalkicker. It will be good to see him return to his best and come out firing against Frankston after Werribee's bye this week. On the game, Bendigo smashed Werribee early on, but Werribee came back very strongly. The match was a ripper in poor conditions and I think that these two sides are ahead of the rest of the competition, as the ladder would suggest. Also, I don't believe that the loss will severely dent Werribee's confidence. They showed maturity to fight back and only fell in the last few minutes. Bendigo had far more scoring shots and deserved to win on the day, however. Cheers, trizzles
