I wasn't talking about that. I was talking about those who are in the senior side and playing with the AFL listed players.
But it clearly hurts the others that I raised. You can't have it both ways.

True, Dolphin. I take what you have said on board.
Werribee would go ok as a stand alone team. They have a large area to work with. I'd say money would be the main issue in pursuing North as a part alignment. If Werribee went stand alone so would North Ballarat a they would only want a part alignment. That would mean Werribee, North Ballarat and the Kangaroos would all be stand alone. The mail says both the roosters and the Bees will most likely be with North Melbourne.
Yeah, I can see a partial alignment working. North Ballarat have publicly said that they havem't had any issues at all with the Kangaroos.

IP would say the VFL, AFL and KAngaroos would want this as the outcome, not sure exactly what Weribees position is on this though. If Weribee reject, the roos are almost forced to go it alone, which they just simply cannot afford.
If the Roos can't get a partial alignment with Werribee, they'll have to look closer to home - maybe Southport!
I don't think they would move a full alignment to Southport instantly.
You guys get a fair bit of money from the AFL though, the funding AFL Tasmania just received is great and should hopefully help to improve the youth development structure down there.
Not a problem of developing players its retaining them that is our problem. For example Nathan Grima who is about to play in the SANFL grand final, started to develop into a key defender for us then some body comes along and poaches him

According to Mark Stone on SEN today, the Werribee/Kangaroos decision was still as much as two weeks away from being sorted out.
Will we see the Murray Kangaroos making a comeback to the competition?
Not a chance! It was unsuccessful. The Murray Kangaroos were playing most of their home games at Coburg and playing two or three games a year at Lavington in front of 800 people. I still reckon the Murray region, including Shepparton, might be an interesting spot for a VFL side - perhaps three or four home games at Deakin Reserve in Shepparton, a couple at Lavington and a couple in Wangaratta but its hard to see a cash strapped club like the Roos being able to do that.
