Think you'll find it was 1993 you won the flag, v Port Melbourne. 1991 was Dandenongs last bit of glory!

How much extra revenue will the club need. I really hop they can achieve something next year, but we all saw how hard it was for Port to Find their feet, and they probably have the extra cash required.

Good luck to the Tigers, hope they do well. The clash (es) against Willy should have an extra edge to them. Since the mid 90's when both clubs were kept busy trying to justify there position in the VFL, the rivalry has been strong, and it should bubble along nicely next year. Werribee struggled for many years, then the early 80's gathered strength and frankly have never looked back. Remember some hidings down at Werribee in the early '80's when Parkes, Conn, Hughes, Simmons and King were running around.

Yep,lets hope Werribee FC can stay competitive and strong. Ive always wondered why the club has not gained more supporters from its massively growing area.Maybe as a real local club thay can encourage more people to get behind them.

Good luck to Werribee for their courage to be a stand alone club next year.I am glad they did not fall into the clutches of the Kangaroos as Laidley would be telling them who to play and where to play them.Hopefully you do well but it will be a lot of work to compete in this competion. Go Borough!

Great decision by the Bees and the best of luck. Games against the Borough, Willy, Sandy and Frankston will be massive games for the Bees, especially against the seagulls. Werribee has a large area and within a few years they can do well and be very competitive.

Alternative revenue streams are what we need.

What other revenue can be gained, surely the club are always looking to maximise sponsorship, how can you build on this??

I used to play there two nights a week (only just a 3 minute walk from my old place) and you could get anywhere from 100 to 160 players a night. Very nice venue, with room for a band/dance floor - a top bistro and of course there's pokies there. It also has a mini-TAB. Pete.
