I've read that Aaron Bishop from Sturt in the SANFL is playing for Coburg this year.

I see. Is there some doubt he'll play for Coburg then? I understand he had a very good season in the SANFL last year, playing in every game.

Havent heard any word on his wherabouts. trained with coburg last year before heading back to SA. Imagine same will happen this year

bish wont be at Sturt this year as he is going back to melbourne, which could mean that he will play with coburg? we have already got another ruckman!!! he will serve you well if he plays!

The guy would struggle to play many senior matches at Coburg with 2 ruckman ahead of him before being considered. With Paddy Steinfort to come back early into the season that would put Bishop back to 4th choice ruckman.
Bishop is a smart guy and realising that he would be hard pressed to play seniors he has stop training at the club and i would say would be looking at another VFL side to play with.
Maybe a club like Werribee with no noted ruckman and with the loss of Ben Hudson, it could be a smart move for him to play there.

Is Steinfort a certainty to return to Coburg? I've heard West Adelaide are/were after him.

Paddy is overseas at the moment & wont be back until mid february. He has been linked to old mazenod in the vic. amatuer league. His 2 brothers play there.

No News as such, but expect a coach for the 2s to be named by the end of this week or sometime next week.
Former Fitzroy rover Chris Whynd ive heard is going to have some sort of a role with the club, an a assitant coach maybe???

News today that two former league players have been appointed assistant coaches at the club.
Ex-Fitzroy player Jimmy Wynd & Ex-Geelong & Collingwood player Carl Steinfort .
