If Frankston are planning something new for the site, I hope they look at something modern, maybe put a coaches box in that side of the ground, maybe a media box (to keep the broadcasters happy) and an area for the TV cameraman to go so he doesnt have to stand in the way of spectators!!! And fireproof of course. As long as St Kilda's rooms arent built there - then I'll be really unhappy.
Well I reckon you are going to be unhappy because it is the perfect site for St Kilda with an away change rooms thrown for the visiting teams.

The boundaries of the park actually include a considerable area the parking south of the grandstand site. It'll become the St Kilda facility and the HOME rooms for Frankston, and the visitors will get the current Frankston rooms. That has been obvious since the moment of the fire.

I think the title actually includes ALL of the current street parking immediately behind where the stand was. It is at least Council land. But you obviously know more about it than me. I would have thought that you may like to spend a little more time trying to get pokies in the Casey Fields that the Scorpions were promised than worrying about issues that no longer concern you. Get over it. You missed out on St Klda. Move on.
I'm extremely interested still as I support St Kilda in the AFL. Given they chose Frankston, I want them to get the best deal out of it. [quote:c69dbd9a14="Dolphin"]Get over it. You missed out on St Klda. Move on.
I have got over it as far as Casey Fields is concerned. I got over it the day the fire ended the propspect of St Kilda going there. But I'm still interested in St Kilda's arrangements at Frankston, so I'll continue to express views about it.

PS Frankston FC would have been run over by the steamroller as Frankston CC and St Kilda FC came to their arrangements, and the Dolphins would have had no influence over the outcome (as you well know). The fire has given you a window of opportunity to influence the outcome, and I would have thought that you would have been using all of your time and energy to maximise your benefits at the moment instead of throwing brickbats my way.

PPS And if the Dolphins hierarchy is secretly concerned about the prospect of being overrun on their own turf by the Saints, but too apprehensive of the prospect of an adverse reaction from a local community buoyed by the St Kilda announcement to come out publicly and say anything negative, then it won’t do Frankston FC any good down the track to wish it had been more upfront in 2007 and 2008.
Thumbs up to Williamstown, of all the clubs in the VFL they're streets ahead of all other clubs in keeping everybody informed via their website.
The Scorpions have been on par if not better than Williamstown this pre-season aswell, Williamstown have been pretty good with their Website for as long as I can remember though.

I'm glad to see we got some discussion going!!!! I love the conflict between Dolphin and caseyscorp, always having a barney about who is better!
