A bit dissapointed no scorpions were selected, i thought a couple may have been a chance.

Reading through the list of names, I think the VFL have named a very solid squad... Is the state game still a bench of 4? I had a feeling it was a 5-man bench last time (can someone correct me if I am wrong). There is a fair bit of ex-AFL talent amongst the 30 man squad as well.

not a bad squad at all. Couple of surprises. Where's Iacobucci? He's done really well for the Bullants this year. Where's Makepeace? Nick Smith from Box Hill Hawks? Not sure about that one. Ken Hall? Can Williamstown supporters tell us how Steveb Green has been going this year?

Don't think Nick Smith would've been picked on form this year, but on previous playing record. He's just starting to work in well at Box hill, and looks to be hitting a bit of form. Look for a big 2nd half of the year!
GREAT TO SEE ROBIN NAHAS IN THE SQUAD AFTER HIS RECENT PERFORMANCES
He may made the 39 man squad. But will be one of the first dropped back to play in the Under 23 game. Under 23 squads due to be announced either tomorrow or Thursday.

Go Borough!
