If you have to give something away for free its a sure sign that the "product " is not selling or is no good in the publics eyes.
Why is it "mickey mouse" and why is it a "so called" state game?
Because it is mate!. Do you think the great unwashed AFL masses give a stuff about this game at all? Are the players the BEST from each State NO they all play in the AFL. So wether YOU like it or not it is second rate and of very little relevence to the average Vic footy punter. If more than a real 3000 ( inflated) people bother to turn Ill bare my arse in Bourke St.
With good weather forecast a crowd 5000+ should turn up. By the way billy the only AFL game on is Carlton vs Adelaide so there is no excuse for a fan of Victorian football from not turning up.
That will make it even worse if a poor crowd does turn up!

Regardless of what you might think, Satiurday sees a true State League v State League game. Cannot for the life of me see how it is a "so called" state game. It is State v State. Would you choke if you had to be positive for once. By the way, if there are 3001 people there, where do you want me to pick you up from for the trip in to town?

:D Billy ,you have 6/7 of your team Port players representing the VFL and proud to be wearing the big V don't tell me thay are not happy about that, as you should be. They have been selected to represent our VFL competition and will surely treasure it forever. Don't be negitive about our VFL team who will play to their best for all of us VFL followers. By the way which end of BOURKE Street will you be at Monday 9am as I have to be in that area and I don't want to be anywhere near you. ps, it's not really a gold coin donation only a bronze coated type, c'mon down and support the VFL. go zebs zebra

Firstly I dont support the Borough and so long as this team is refered to as the VFL and not Victoria or Victoria represented by the VFL as a state based comp I have no problems But please the REAL Victorian team? no way even the AFL players that play mostly in the VFL are not allowed to play so in no way does this team represent the true standard even of players in the VFL. As I said and I stand by it its a second rate maybe even third rate "Victorian" team. The States should be represented by the BEST players from each State not the also rans and leftovers.Of course the players want to play interstate/ interleague footy but ask yourself would ANY of these players get a game in a true VIC team - not bloody likely. You think Im being negative but Im only stating it as it it is! Go to BIGFOOTY if you want to see the lack of interest in this game by forumers there and where was the segment on the Footy Show last night if its such a big game?.

Billy, you are an idiot. Just wait until 5000+ turn up tomorrow and it is a close, tough game of football. With less than 24 hours to go, BRING IT ON.

Billy, that lemon tree in your backyard must be huge. Because I assume you suck one for breakfast every morning to get your acid tongue. You'd find something to grumble about if you won Tatts. ``What, I only won $1million .... why wasn't the pool higher?''
