[quote:c13ea80e76="billythekid"]where was the segment on the Footy Show last night if its such a big game?.
I`d hardly think that appearing on the footy show was a KPI
Yeah it only has 500,000 footy fan viewers and you wouldnt want to tell them the game was on would you?

Billy, if you prefer to attack the VFL then why are you posting on here?

As a very longtime VFA and Sandringham supporter I have every right to critisize the current AFL enforced VFL comp. Sorry fellas but I just like I said I wont be bareing my bum anytime soon. Looks to lucky to be 2000 odd scattered around the ground = pretty pathetic for such a fine day.

I was quite surprised by the lack of people around the ground. From the ABC TV pictures, it looked like most of the crowd was confined to the grandstand.

Go Borough!

It was a good crowd there today, no official figure yet but talking to some AFL Victoria officials a crowd of around 4 to 5 thousand is about the figure I think.

TEAC Oval can only hold about 6,000 before they have to shut the gates, and the ground was only about half full today. Sitting in the grandstand and then having a wander around, I reckon there were no more than 2,500. Very disappointing considering the conditions and the effort that AFL Victoria and the Herald-Sun went to in trying to build the up the match. But then without current AFL listed players being allowed to play, a lot of ordinary footy fans won't take an interest. Pity too - TEAC Oval on days like today has a great ambience for the footy, even allowing for the wind.

One of these is the fact that I have two university exams next week and have been studying for them, as well as writing some assignments that are due as well. I didn't see every single part of the game due to being at my desk studying and writing assignments. Are you saying education isn't important?
