I wonder if sportsbet are betting on next weeks state game. Robbo, what odds would you have for this game ? Maybe SANFL $1.70 and VFL $2.10 at a wild guess. I would bet on the vics if I got those odds. Because the game is on at Adelaide the SANFL would probably be favorites. The VFL can win this but a lot would depend on the teams they put out on the ground and most importantly the match ups. The last meeting between the two was a ripper of a game at Teac Oval. No Jeremy Clayton to sink is this time. What kind of crowd will they get ? Maybe 6/7000 at a guess.

They are hoping for 8 to 10 thousand given that the good weather currently forecast stays that way.

For those that may not know Williamstown's Brett Johnson has been named captain of the VFL team.

Radio Coverage: 5RPH Adelaide, no news on whether Casey Radio or 3XX 1611 are doing the game. 1611 AM is waiting to hear back from 5RPH. We had been speaking to Life FM for almost 3 weeks, and it all seemed good, then they said no on Monday Morning, which doesn't give us much time to talk to 5RPH about taking their feed. I hope to hear fom them today. Peter.

CONFIRMED. 1611 AM will be taking the 5RPH Feed between 1.30pm and 5pm Melbourne Time. Thanks very much to Hans and the team at 5RPH for making this possible. On the subject of taking the ABC feed as raised by Footyman - sadly the ABC don't like other station taking their TV or radio feeds for anything! I tried ages ago to get ABC News on a Community Station but ran into a wall of no. If they did, then on a number of Saturdays we would just take the ABC TV feed and us callers could have some rounds off! Anyway we get to put our feet up this week - and try and figure out what the hell went wrong last week. Peter.
