Under 18's Format 2008

From what I can understand, the TAC cup will become closely tied with the VFL from next season onwards. Each TAC club/player will have the opportunity to play senior VFL football. Does this mean that TAC clubs will now play under the same I suppose, Location name, for lack of a better word. And do they become united as 1 club. Do we change TAC Nickname (Pioneers to Bombers etc. etc.) Obviously some would be easy would be easy links. i.e: VFL -TAC Bendigo -Bendigo North Ballarat- North Ballarat Northern Bullants -Northen Knights Sandringham- Sandringham Do the Calder Cannons become Coburg? Possibly Eastern Ranges to Box Hill? Now these ones get interesting: Dandenong Stingrays Gippsland Power Oakleigh Chargers Funny one with: Geelong Falcons Western Jets And then what do the Murray Bushrangers do?? Do we see: Dandenong become Frankston? Gippsland Become Casey? Oakliegh Become Port? On top of this, the Western Jets I suppose would become Williamstown, but then what happens to Werribee? Do they get full affiliation with Geelong, is it an unfair that they won't have closer accessability to TAC players? Do we bring in a Weribee TAC club, or is that not an option as according to much of the public will dilute the standard of the comp? Do geelong Falcons just play for Geelong VFL? I would like to see every VFL club get a specific aligned, same name underage team. Not sure if it will happen, but I personally think this will be the best outcome for the VFL comp. And what do Murray Bushrangers do?? Do the under age teams play on the same day as the Senior teams? I know at the moment TAC fixtures are scatteres at all times and both days to enable scouts to see as much as possible. But with the Jumiors being easily able to play seniors, is it fair to assume the most likely draft chances would be playing senior football. Will they even play at the same ground? Perhaps a combination of early games, and twighlight games (after seniors) could be looked at, and I think the VFL would want to get the teams playing at the same grounds under the same Banner. Interesting to see what happens. Thoughts?
