TAC Cup 2009
The draw should be officially released this week, but one thing that stands out is the increase in curtain raisers to VFL games next year. I dont think there were any this year (the one scheduled Western Jets game got moved so Williamstown could host the Reserves final). Next year there are 13 TAC Cup/VFL Seniors games programmed. And they've been spread around so that most clubs have one during the year. A bit unfortunate that Frankston/Dandenong and Port/Oakleigh have different grounds and cant have one but the more the better in my opinion. A good move.

We had two this year, Round 2 we had a triple header against Bendigo and Round 8 we played Geelong and the Rebels played Calder

Sandringham Dragons played North Ballarat rebels before the Geelong match at TBBO last season...for many, it was the first time they would have seen a kid called Jack Watts playing...
